The Smart-UPS RT 1000VA RM 230V On-Line 700W with 6 IEC Power Plugs by APC is a Rack UPS with 6 outlets of type IEC (such as those for computer power supplies). Its operation is (VFI) On-Line/Double Conversion which provides continuous power from the battery, protecting against voltage fluctuations and power outages. The battery can last for 24 minutes with half load or 10 minutes with full load (when the connected devices draw half or maximum current that the UPS can provide respectively). It provides pure sine wave power which is suitable for sensitive devices (e.g. medical equipment) and is preferred for devices with active PFC protection (e.g. computers).
