Description

The hail Q-2000 by Princess, has a power of 1800 Watts. It does not replace a complete home heating system, but it is ideal for quickly heating small spaces (or parts of them), such as a bedroom, an office, or a small living room.

Without the need for preheating, it can reach maximum temperature in just a few seconds, while providing uniform and targeted heat distribution. The infrared heating it provides is clean, without odors or dust concentration.

It also has excellent stability thanks to its large feet. It has a safety grid in front of the lamps and should always be placed away from flammable surfaces (e.g. carpets, curtains). Your adjustable thermostat allows you to adjust or maintain the desired temperature of the room throughout the use of the stove.

You can adjust and choose among 4 heating levels, depending on the characteristics of the room and your personal needs. It has a fan to better and more quickly distribute heat in the room.
The built-in humidifier consists of a water container and an independent switch for its operation. It allows you to add some humidity to the room to prevent air dryness and always have the ideal atmosphere. Its operation is based on four lamps, which contain noble gas that ignites and transfers heat to the environment. with a power of 450 Watt per lamp.

It is suitable for spaces up to 22m². As an indication, the ideal conditions for indoor spaces during winter are a temperature of approximately 21 °C and a relative humidity between 40% - 60%.

  • I have had it for about three months. When it snows outside, it struggles a bit to bring the room to a satisfactory temperature. For temperatures in Attica, it's fine. Lately, with the expansion and contraction, it started making noise, something it didn't do at the beginning. Using a fan, besides being noisy, I don't see much of a difference (speed of heat transfer or maximum efficiency). Overall, it has moderate construction.

Positive aspects: it heats up quickly, long bulb lifespan, relatively economical consumption (1.8kw/hr) with a thermostat, nice rotary switches, wide range of radiation (especially with all 4 bulbs on, you don't have to sit in front of it for a long time).

Negative aspects: noisy fan (I don't use it anymore), inconvenient handle (if it's on and you want to move it, you can get burned), very short cable. It heats the floor in front of it excessively, so it requires caution with carpets, etc.

Overall, I would recommend it though.

  • It heats up very quickly, it's very good to have it close to you, it gets you out of a difficult situation (if you're in a hurry to warm up).
In 1 1/2 hours, I barely noticed a small difference in the room. I consider it good for 15-20 sq.m. I bought it as an auxiliary and not as a main source of heating..! In the next few days, I will also examine the consumption cost it has. Anyway, in 1 1/2 hours, 4 kilowatts were consumed, with the 4 expected bars, but I also had the kitchen in operation, refrigerator, stereo. Good
