The Kanto Audio Ren are active bookshelf and desktop speakers, designed to enhance audio from computers, TVs, and stereo systems. They feature a Class D amplifier with a total output of 100W RMS (200W peak), powering two 5.25-inch concave aluminum mid-bass drivers and two 1-inch silk dome tweeters. Their extensive connectivity includes an HDMI ARC port for direct connection to a TV, Bluetooth 5.3 wireless technology, a digital optical input (Optical TOSLINK), a USB-C audio port, and analog RCA and 3.5mm Aux inputs. The system uses two 5.25-inch concave aluminum woofers and midrange drivers, which provide rigidity and a fast transient response for tight bass. For high frequencies, the speakers feature 1-inch silk-dome tweeters, delivering clear dispersion and natural sound without listening fatigue.

Digital & Wireless Connectivity HDMI ARC & Bluetooth

In terms of connectivity, the Ren speakers feature an HDMI ARC port, allowing direct connection to modern TVs and volume control via the TV remote. They also feature Bluetooth 5.3 for stable wireless audio streaming from smartphones, tablets and other portable devices. For digital audio sources, they offer an Optical TOSLINK input (supporting signals up to 24-bit/96kHz) and a USB-C Audio port for direct connection to computers.

Analog Inputs, Subwoofer Output & Sound Modes

The speakers are equipped with RCA and 3.5mm Aux analog inputs for connecting a turntable (with an external preamp) or analog playback devices. They feature a dedicated Subwoofer Out, which automatically activates an 80Hz Active High-Pass Filter on the main speakers, relieving them of the burden of very low frequencies. In addition, the remote control provides sound processing options such as Vocal Mode to enhance dialogue clarity and Night Mode to compress the dynamic range during nighttime listening.
