The magnum opus of Claudio Castellini, Silver Surfer – The Darkness Beyond The Stars, arrives in an unparalleled artist edition, hardcover and in a large format that will make an impression.
A mysterious comet, composed of inexhaustible energy, is about to enter known space. Both Galactus and Thanos recruit an agent to take advantage. The former trusts Silver Surfer, while the latter turns to the bounty hunter White Raven.
This particular story, when it was first published in 1996, was unfairly treated through the original edition, as the richness and details of the artwork were not highlighted. Since then, with each new reissue of the story, the edition has been enriched and has taken new form, with Castellini perfecting many elements of the artwork, inking, shading, as well as the publishing specifications, coming close to its ultimate form.
A space opera written by veteran Ron Marz and masterfully illustrated by Claudio Castellini, completely processed and printed in such a way that captures every last detail of the artwork perfectly. A story and an edition that is enriched and changes with each new release, making it the ultimate edition internationally.
