Salep is used to prepare kaimaki ice cream and dondurma, as well as a herbal tea. In a pot, we add 2 cups of water or milk and 12g of salep (one packet). We stir until dissolved and let it boil. Once it thickens, we remove it from the heat while stirring continuously. It is served hot.
