The 3R80 knee joint with hydraulic rotation principle is approved for users with a body weight of up to 150 kg (330 lbs). With the 3R80, both the standing phase and the swinging phase are controlled by the hydraulic system. Walking up and down stairs is effectively supported by approximating a natural walking pattern, even at various walking speeds.

The 3R80 joint offers comprehensive features for customizing standing and swinging characteristics. Optimal adjustment values for standing phase damping and response behavior are achieved through gradual rotation of the adjustment rings. The resistance level in the standing phase can easily be adjusted to the user's requirements and allows for variable bending of the knee under load up to 4° during rebounding and more than 4° during performance. An additional spring can be easily integrated to increase extension assistive force.
