Roku Gin is the first Japanese gin from the Suntory distillery. Its name means "six" and refers to the six seasonal botanicals it contains that thrive exclusively in Japan:
- Sakura flower and Sakura leaf for spring
- Yuzu peel and Sansho peel for winter
- Sencha green tea and Gyokuro tea for summer
- Sansho pepper for autumn
In taste, besides the rare aromas of Japanese botanicals, there are notes of citrus, cedar, cinnamon, and coriander. Complex yet refined with floral flavors and a spicy finish. The six-sided bottle also symbolizes the six botanicals used.
