The Tetra Compact XL 75GPD reverse osmosis system is designed for aquarium applications and includes three filtration stages on a metal frame. It operates without electricity, using natural mains pressure above 2.5 bar, and has a membrane with a production capacity of 75 GPD. The cartridges feature stem quick-connect fittings for tool-free replacement.

The first stage uses a melt-blown polypropylene cartridge with a filtration rating of 5 microns and bacteriostatic properties to trap solid particles such as sand, dirt, and rust. The second stage features a 5-micron carbon block cartridge to remove chlorine, organic compounds, and volatile compounds. The third-stage membrane removes more than 95% of bacteria, cysts, pesticides, organic and volatile compounds, salts, heavy metals, and other contaminants.
