    As much as I have used the stone on a gas grill (relatively small). The temperature I measure with a laser thermometer is a maximum of 380 degrees. Possibly, in a better insulated grill or oven, I would have had a higher temperature. Nevertheless, if cheese falls on it, it burns and smells, but this is to be expected.
