Description

Description

In striving to understand the world and oneself within the world and history, humanity has repeatedly tried to construct systems of thought, ideological rails upon which they would be guided, and as they hoped, reach a total understanding of the truth of life.

However, historically it has been demonstrated that certain movements, both in their roots and in their practical results, have been disastrous, even though they are euphemistically remembered - this is also a historical phenomenon.

The Enlightenment movement in Western Europe has taken on, without being either accurate or fair, almost all the positive characteristics as a force of renewal and the elevation of humanism.

A careful look at History, of course, identifies the practical implications and cannot agree with the attribution of so many honors and virtues to this particular movement.

Especially Christians, researching without any conspiratorial suspicion, find an immediate anti-Christian attack from the leaders of this movement, which did not remain merely in the form of characterizations on paper but also manifested in acts of persecution during the years of the French Revolution and subsequent revolutions.
