Description

Description

The strong points of the Michelin Primacy 5:

Ideal for electric cars: Special design to reduce noise and increase battery range.

• Maximum road contact: Technology that increases lifespan by 18% (compared to the previous model).

Long-lasting safety: Brakes equally effectively whether new or worn.

Safety without expiration date

The problem with most tires is that they lose their performance as they wear out. Not the Primacy 5.

Thanks to Michelin's revolutionary technologies (EverGrip), the tread maintains its ability to effectively disperse water even after thousands of kilometers.

It offers a 4% shorter braking distance on wet roads (compared to the Primacy 4), ensuring that the car stops where it should, whether the tire is new or worn.

Champion in durability

No one wants to change tires often.

The MaxTouch technology evenly distributes the forces of acceleration, braking, and cornering across the tire. The result?

The Primacy 5 offers 18% greater mileage performance compared to its predecessor. Its durable rubber withstands harsh conditions, making it an extremely cost-effective choice in the long run

Comfort and technology for electric vehicles

Designed for the future, the Primacy 5 is optimized for the demands of electric vehicles. The special rubber reduces rolling resistance (for greater battery range), while the tread design offers a "velvety" and silent roll, absorbing road irregularities.

Tested in practice: What drivers say about the Primacy 5

We have gathered for you the key points from reviews by verified owners:

  • High durability: Reports indicate durability reaching 60,000 - 65,000 km without a dramatic drop in performance.
  • Excellent comfort: Users confirm that it is one of the quietest and most comfortable tires on the market.
  • Stability: Inspires confidence on both dry and wet roads.

  • Grip on dry pavement
  • Grip on wet pavement
  • Do they wear out easily?
  • Relatively quiet
  • Do they reach the appropriate temperature quickly?
  • I would buy them again
  • I had the 4s on a Focus Mk2, and they lasted me 7 years without ever losing air. On the brakes, even after 7 years and in the rain, the ABS never kicked in. If they are as good as the 4s, then they are the obvious choice.

Anyone who drives a lot of kilometers daily like I do, Michelin Primacy is the only way to go. Safety everywhere and always. Comfortable up to 60-65 thousand kilometers and it doesn't let you down until then. The most value for money tire for my use.

One month worn on a Ford Focus mk2 and they are perfect. I used to wear the Primacy 4 before and now I put on the 5 to see the improvement compared to the previous one, which was also excellent. It inspires safety especially on wet but also on dry pavement in terms of grip, as well as in braking. In corners, it sticks to the road very well and overall I see that it is equal to its predecessor, the Primacy 4, and time will tell about its mileage, which according to the manufacturer is the same or more than the Primacy 4. I believe these will also last many years and many kilometers like the previous ones I wore. I hear and see comments about other tires regarding their lifespan, performance, and mileage, and I conclude that Michelin are superior tires with a long lifespan and reliable driving for many kilometers. Five years with ease, 60,000km with ease, after that their decline begins. Michelin and again Michelin!!!

Excellent tire in dry and wet conditions, soft until you need it in the turn, there it will hold you, absolutely controlled grip without unpleasant surprises. The previous Primacy 4 was VERY durable, the 5 according to the company is even better.
Six and a half years with the previous ones and they held up just fine (the tire specialist agreed too) but I changed them because that's what logic dictates.
And that's the difference, most tires after 3-3.5 years are dangerous, Michelin will protect you until the absolute end of their life, it's no coincidence that most taxi drivers use Michelin.
