600ml One-Component Polyurethane Foam D-2 DuroStick

One-component polyurethane foam, with high adhesive, thermal insulation, and soundproofing capabilities. The foam hardens by reacting with moisture and provides numerous sealing solutions in construction work. It stands out for its strong adhesion to all building materials, supporting them without shrinking after hardening. It provides a great bonding capacity and strong fastening. It can be painted with water-based paints.

• Ensures the fastening of interior walls to ceilings and floors, fastening panels, and junction boxes.
• Fills joints around cable and pipe penetrations through walls and floors.
• Suitable for sealing openings in roofs and insulation materials, as well as for creating soundproofing layers.

1. Surface Preparation: The surfaces must be stable and free from loose spots, oils, or grease. We protect the surrounding areas with masking tape. Wet the surfaces that need to be slightly damp before applying the material.
2. Application: Shake the D-2 foam before application and press the valve while holding the can upside down. Start the application from the deepest point. For gaps with a width and depth greater than 5cm, it is preferable to apply in successive layers every 15-30 minutes. Remove residues with a knife after they harden. Follow with, if necessary, plastering or painting of the surfaces, 24 hours after application. The valve is cleaned with acetone immediately after use.

Residues of fresh D-2 foam are cleaned with acetone or white spirit.

Store in shaded areas, away from any heat source, for 12 months from the date of production.

The product is classified as harmful and highly flammable. It is recommended to keep it locked away from children & to apply it in well-ventilated areas. Before use, consult the precautionary instructions on the product packaging or the Safety Data Sheet.
