It is equipped with Shimano's "Servo Wave" technology, which multiplies the force you apply to the lever, for increased braking power. Additionally, it can be used with Shimano's Ice-Tech pads and discs for even better performance. It features an ergonomic 2-finger brake lever with lever angle adjustment. 

Durable construction with integrated appearance, lightweight caliper, smooth and predictable control with a balance of power and stiffness, thermal insulating pad and piston, and compatibility with Ice technologies.
