The Menabo Omega roof bars are mounted directly onto the body of the 5-door BMW 1 Series F20, without requiring factory-fitted longitudinal roof rails. The set includes feet and a mounting system designed specifically for this car model. The steel bars have a rectangular cross-section and can be used to carry accessories such as bike racks, roof boxes, and racks for skis, snowboards, canoes or kayaks.

They do not have a T-Track slot on top, so accessories are secured using a conventional U-bolt system from the outside, or with a slot-mounting system if the accessory itself supports it. The maximum load also depends on the vehicle specifications.
