The Omega bar system is compatible with vehicles that do not have factory long bars. The Omega bars attach directly to the vehicle's body using a specific mounting system. You can easily install a wide variety of car accessories on the Omega bars, such as bike racks, roof boxes, ski and snowboard mounts, as well as kayak and canoe holders.
It is important to note that the steel bars do not have a 20mm channel on top, which means that the T-connection system cannot be used to connect accessories unless your accessories include support systems with a channel. In this case, you will need to use the classic U-connection system from the outside of the bars.
