We have identical bodyshape. I bought the xl. My use is adventure enduro so I need mobility and long stand driving not sitted. I am wearing mostly motocross boots and it feels ok from inside the boots. But with simple moto boots is again ok. I beleive large size will restrict your movement and you will need extra force for your movement which will cause fadigue. XL will look more flafy but is more correct. In case of extra cold you can wear internally isothermic clothes. Also during summer the extra size will breathe better. The quality is very good. No problems so far after 5 trails of 100km each on dirt. I Hope I assist you.
