The FATBOY mouthpieces are thicker than the original Guardala. The elliptical shape allows the mouthpiece to be larger with less weight increase. The resulting size/weight ratio is the unique way to produce a “BALANCED SOUND” with a mouthpiece larger than the original Dave Guardala Mouthpiece.
