Overall impression: it's a sandal for casual walks around the city, and not exactly "anatomical," as the comments say. Compared with completely wrong, rigid soles, yes! it's better, but if it had a footbed with cushioning, I would have been completely satisfied.

For people with foot issues, I would recommend something sturdier, because this particular footbed forms a kind of dip, whereas ideally you want it to rise in places to provide support with cushioning... otherwise, it gets tiring with continuous use.
However, those who don't have any issues probably won't even notice the difference.
Personally, I paired it with an anatomical pair that cost the same and alternated between them every other day. They lasted all summer with daily walking. At some point after two months, the straps loosened a little (which is to be expected with leather). I tightened them by fastening them one notch tighter, so I can keep using them next year too.
