Taste-wise it satisfies me, but not as much as the green one that comes in beans. It is a light and sweet coffee. If you use a closed portafilter with a pressurized basket, then the coffee does not need any pressure at all, only leveling, because it is ground very finely and extraction does not happen. For the same reason, the basket should not be filled all the way to the top.

it's not bad but it's very light and expensive compared to similar smooth drinks that are 15 euros cheaper, the shop in the neighborhood stopped selling it and replaced it with Hausbrandt

The coffee is made from selected arabica beans, so that the caffeine content does not exceed 1.34% by weight. The typical content for arabica beans is 1.5% to 1.7%, while robusta beans are over 3%. The review concerns filter coffee, and I can say that it is the best I have ever had among the mild coffees, which cannot be compared to the strong, full flavor and higher caffeine content of Jacobs filter coffee. I am at an age where I prefer filter coffees with lower caffeine, and this one is ideal; the taste is for connoisseurs, and it is recommended to drink it plain. The producing company is a small unit in Trento and cannot be compared to giants like Jacobs, Maxwell, Kimbo; the price is almost double that of other companies, so the cost increases considerably for a family.

Terrible. It doesn't run on a 20 bar machine. I have to use less than a single dose, resulting in having to do the process twice to have a coffee. It's nothing like illy or lavazza oro at all

It is truly an excellent choice for those who love authentic Italian espresso. Its taste is rich, balanced, and full of aromas, with a nice crema and velvety texture that leaves an aftertaste without bitterness. I tried it with the Crown Espresso 850W / 15bar (CEM-1525) machine and the result was impressive. The 15bar pressure brings out the best in the coffee, giving it a full body and perfect crema.

the coffee has a very nice taste. I bought it coming from shops. the machine I have, arielli km-501b, could not make a good extraction of the coffee. it takes many tries to achieve the right amount and a tasty coffee. As for aroma, it didn't have anything special.

It is not filter coffee as stated. It is espresso coffee (it says so on the back of the box).

Garbage. It doesn't even run from a 20bar machine where I've tried so many coffees and never had a problem with any of them. This particular one is for the trash

For when I'm in the mood for cocoa notes as an aftertaste. Note that for the non-pressurized portafilter I bought, it is somewhat coarse even for the double basket and flows like a faucet, so I mix it in the basket with Illy decaf or even with Mrs Rose decaf (since I drink 7-8 coffees). For the factory pressurized one of the Delonghi Dedica I have, it is correctly ground, especially for the double basket.

I don't know what's going on with this coffee, it keeps the water on top, I would say like the others that it is cut differently from the classic ones but it definitely doesn't work for me

Unsuitable for home use machines, due to its very fine grinding (we have the De’Longhi Dedica Pump). It also had an unpleasant aroma.

I read the reviews that it is one of the best coffees and I made the effort to order it myself. Above average is like an evaluation. But I much prefer hausbrandt. I ordered both coffees at the same time and the difference was obvious. My opinion.

By far the best and highest quality French. All French ones start to fade after a while. Not this one. Aromatic and enjoyable even after hours.

Excellent coffee that the world didn't know about and had a reasonable price, but now they've gone a bit overboard with the positive reviews and are selling it more expensive than the well-known Italian one, while once upon a time, Mr. Rose was 20% cheaper, now it surpasses it by almost 30% in price.

I have a KRUPS NDGusto capsule machine and until recently I only drank the NDG Barista, considering it to be top-notch for my palate. I decided to stop using Nestle capsules and bought refillable ones. So, I tried Lavazza ORO, Illy normal and Scuro, even Tonino Lamborgini, but what came out of the capsule was always a disappointment. I found a box of Mrs. Rose ground coffee somewhere, bought it, and it honestly produces amazing coffee without fail. We're talking about crazy creaminess from this silly machine with this silly capsule that doesn't break even with stirring or until you finish it. So, I ordered two more boxes to stock up, since I reached an agreement with my palate and I won't be changing it for anyone

In bottomless portafilter 16g it produces a 60ml blend with a very comfortable flow in delonghi dedica... Those who say that the machine gets clogged obviously have the factory pressurized filter basket, maybe due to the fine grind it gets clogged... Now, in terms of taste, it is strong and slightly bitter but enjoyable if you like strong coffees. Now, if it's worth the 8-9€ it costs, I would say definitely not, since dimello Forza has a better overall package for half the price... The reason I give it 3 stars is because of the price and what you get for it. If it cost up to 5€, I would give it 4 stars. Personally, I do not recommend it as it is expensive without any wow factor in taste that you wouldn't get from cheaper coffees.

I tried this coffee on the Delonghi Dedica EC785 and it was a complete disappointment. Not at all strong, it was as if I was drinking French coffee. It probably doesn't suit this machine, I still haven't bought a grinder.

Today I bought pre-ground coffee from a café and it's truly day and night compared to the ready ground one. The coffee comes out creamy and with a rich aroma. The grinder is definitely a must if I want to enjoy coffee at home.

The best coffee I have ever had outside! I bought it ground (and even 4 boxes, my goodness) for my delonghi dedica that I have and the result had nothing to do with what I had drunk. Bitter, without any aroma. What a shame. I don't know if the situation can be saved or if I am doing something wrong or if it's the -otherwise decent- espresso machine of mine that is to blame, but complete disappointment...

Although I don't have much experience in making espresso at home, as soon as I bought the Izzy Amalfi, I ordered this coffee and I find it excellent. Today I had guests at home and I made three double coffees (!) just for one of them... This means that they liked it... Now, whether this also shows that it is light, I don't know... Some people write that it is not suitable for a home machine. Indeed, it needs to not be pressed too much. One time I pressed it quite hard and the machine struggled.

Variety that never disappoints. However, it is important to note that the ground coffee Mrs. Rose is not suitable for a home machine (Gruppe CM 4677 Italiana) because it is ground too fine. It may not be a generalized problem, but I thought it would be useful for people who operate the same machine in their space to see this.

Excellent as coffee, the only thing that needs attention is that in delonghi type machines it does not have the most suitable grind and requires patience or not to choose it at all. It is probably more ideal for a moka pot espresso.

One of the best Espresso varieties I have tried. I have preferred it many times. Of course, taste is subjective.

I opened the box, and there was no aroma, which surprised me. However, the coffee is quite good in taste. I believe it will only be worth it for those who have a grinder at home to grind it, because the grind in this particular one is so fine that with my 15-bar machine, I managed to put only 12g (without any pressure, of course) in the group so that it has the minimum flow. After 12g, no water comes out at all (of course, this happens with my machine, maybe it works better in others.. Rohnson r970)
