This grill "competes" with Weber's (formerly) cheaper model, the Spirit II E-210 GBS. Supposedly, that one has improved some things, but in practice, I don't see it excelling in many areas (maybe it has more grilling accessories; see other possible advantages below). On the contrary, this one has a closed design which I aesthetically prefer, although the side tables are not foldable (so the GBS is a better choice where width is more limited). However, it has the disadvantage that the gas bottle must be lifted to be placed in the cabinet, and this might be a problem for those with knee/back issues, especially with the classic 10kg propane bottle which actually weighs 21kg (note that it can take a slightly larger one). Overall, being significantly cheaper at the moment than the Spirit II E-210GBS, I consider it a better choice.

Assembly can be done by most people, but it requires a lot of patience, space, and 3-4 hours; if you lack these, it's better to have it delivered assembled. In any case, do not plan assembly and grilling on the same day. After assembly and connecting the bottle (with the provided pressure regulator), check for gas leaks with soapy water, and then do the required preheating at full power to burn off the factory oils.

Although, as with all gas grills, the taste does not reach that of charcoal (but that's another discussion; anyone who doesn't notice a difference, especially with pork, is definitely not a connoisseur), the grill seems to me to be of good quality, easy to use, and functional. As with other gas grills, there are of course smoking, low-temperature, or pellet ignition solutions, which slightly improve the flavor. Its grilling is quite even across the surface of the grates, and with use, you'll find any relatively cooler spots. The two burners are more than enough for 4 people.

There are no flare-ups *if the grates and the tray are cleaned regularly* and you don't turn up the heat too much on fatty meats. As with all gas grills, preheating for 12-15 minutes at full power is absolutely necessary, and then you put the meat on and lower the heat as much as possible, depending on the type of cooking. The grates must definitely be clean, and it's helpful if they're lightly oiled with sunflower oil, so the meat doesn't stick.

Cleaning the removable (sliding) tray should be done relatively often, as there are spots with insufficient slope where a lot of fat can accumulate and potentially ignite. The accumulation of dirt also depends greatly on what you grill. In the Spirit II, the tray is not removable but is sloped on all sides, so perhaps the fats run more easily to the drip pan. Weber recommends a plastic spatula for the enameled surfaces and a good quality wire brush for the grates (be careful not to leave wires behind as they are extremely dangerous to health). Under no circumstances should you clean with toxic chemicals like oven sprays. Weber sells a non-toxic spray made from soda and detergent, but you can make it yourself with dish soap and baking soda. However, you'll need space as the process is messy.

I also bought the protective cover (the black one, because I've had bad experiences with Weber's gray ones as they don't withstand the sun). This last one is unacceptably expensive, unfortunately.

And an interesting practical detail: After a three-day period with high humidity conditions and while it was covered, none of the burners would light. After wiping the igniters (only needed to remove the grates) with a simple... paper towel, it worked fine.

And another practical detail: grill the pitas at maximum heat, otherwise you won't enjoy them. That's all.
