I have been an enthusiastic buyer of Rider Bay for nearly 20 years.
They used to be bulletproof. They would comfortably last 3 years with continuous use, winter and summer.
I buy new ones every year for the beach and continue using the older ones at home and in winter.
In recent years, they started breaking after 2 years at the joint next to the big toe.
Then after 1.5 years.
The latest pair, after 10 months, is breaking at the bottom in the sole.
Obviously they went too far with the recycled material and they wear out prematurely, while the price remains just as high.
I also believe they have removed material from the inner anatomical gel.
It is no longer acceptable to pay 30 euros for the latest model for at most a few months.
I am looking for an alternative because these now self-destruct.
Ήμουν ένθερμος αγοραστής των Rider Bay εδώ και κοντά 20 χρόνια.
Κάποτε ήταν αλεξίσφαιρες. Κρατούσαν άνετα 3ετια με συνεχή χρήση χειμώνα καλοκαίρι.
Αγοράζω κάθε χρόνο νέες για καλές στην παραλία και συνεχίζω να χρησιμοποιώ τις παλαιότερες στο σπίτι και τον χειμώνα.
Τα τελευταία χρόνια κοβόταν στα 2 χρόνια στην ενωση δίπλα από το μεγάλο δάχτυλο.
Μετά στον 1.5 χρόνο.
Το τελευταίο ζευγάρι στους 10 μήνες κόβεται στο κάτω μέρος στην σόλα.
Προφανώς το παρακαναν με το ανακυκλωμένο υλικό και φθείρονται πρόωρα, ενώ η τιμή παραμένει το ίδιο ψηλά.
Πιστεύω επίσης ότι έχουν αφαιρέσει υλικό και από το εσωτερικό ανατομικό gel.
Δεν γίνεται πλέον να δίνουμε 30 ευρώ για το τελευταίο μοντέλο, για το πολύ μερικούς μήνες.
Αναζητώ εναλλακτική γιατί αυτές πλέον αυτόκαταστρέφονται.

One of the most comfortable I've ever worn. No question about it. I also find them beautiful. However, after 2 1/2 years, the upper part of the left slipper tore (about 2cm). At some point it will tear completely, but it is still "wearable." So, "weigh" it and decide.
Από τις πιο άνετες που έχω ποτέ φορέσει. Δεν το συζητώ. Τις βρίσκω επίσης όμορφες. Ωστοσο, μετά από 2 1/2 ετη σκιστηκε το επάνω μέρος της αριστερής παντοφλας (2εκ περίπου). Κάποια στιγμή θα σκιστεί εντελώς, όμως ακόμα "φοριεται". "Ζυγίστε" λοιπόν και αποφασιστε.
