Cat.7 S/FTP 20Gbps cable from Extralink. The Cat.7 S/FTP cable is the ideal choice for individuals and businesses seeking maximum quality in network connections. It offers speeds up to 20 Gbps over a distance of 100 meters and supports frequencies up to 600 MHz, providing excellent performance in demanding environments such as 4K/8K video transmission or heavy-duty networks. Thanks to the advanced shielding of each pair of cables and the additional shielding of the entire cable, Cat.7 effectively eliminates electromagnetic interference and signal crosstalk, ensuring stable and reliable connections. Additionally, it is more durable and future-proof than Cat.6, making it a cost-effective investment in modern and robust network infrastructures.

The Cat.7 S/FTP cable is terminated with shielded, gold-plated connectors. It is made from four-pair cable and pure copper wire pairs, allowing for the powering of network devices according to the PoE standard.

Advantages of Cat.7 over Cat.6:

• Higher bandwidth - supports speeds up to 20 Gbps over 100 meters (Cat.6 only up to 55 meters for 10 Gbps).
• Better protection against interference - shielding of each pair and the entire cable (S/FTP) minimizes EMI and signal crosstalk.
• Higher operating frequency - supports up to 600 MHz (Cat.6: 250 MHz).
• Greater durability and reliability - higher quality materials and construction.
• Future-proof technology - compatibility with modern Ethernet standards, better long-term investment.
