The entire construction of the Ulanzi case is high quality (weighing 485g), flawless, and has a magnetic detachable panel for immediate access to the front ports of the Mac mini. The 8 magnets are very strong and hold the detachable panel firmly in place. Its design resembles a mini version of the Apple Mac Pro 2019. It has no sharp edges at all. Its finish is impeccable, completely smooth to the touch, and built to stand the test of time. The case opens by unscrewing 4 small screws and internally has padding so the Mac mini does not get scratched. It can be placed horizontally or vertically. In the horizontal position, its power button is on the top side, so you don't press it blindly.
I measured with calipers: 129.7 mm, 130.1 mm, and 158.6 mm for the internal width, length, and diagonal of the case respectively. The Ulanzi QT01 case fits like a glove on the Mac mini M4/M4 Pro. The high-level build quality extends even to its metal feet. The cutouts for the ports and the cooling system are perfectly aligned.
