Description

Upgrade your laptop’s connectivity with the UGREEN CM512 (45000), a powerful 6-in-1 USB-C Hub. Designed for professionals and technology enthusiasts, it offers six versatile ports, including HDMI 4K@60Hz for crystal-clear visuals, Gigabit Ethernet for stable internet, and a 100W Power Delivery port for ultra-fast charging. With lightning-fast data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps and a durable aluminum housing, it is the ideal solution to maximize your productivity at the office or at home, eliminating the limitations of cables.

Lightning-Fast Data Transfer 10 Gbps

The UGREEN CM512 incorporates the USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard, offering speeds of up to 10 Gbps. This means you can transfer large files, such as high-resolution videos or entire photo libraries, in seconds. It features two USB-A ports and one USB-C port for data, ensuring full compatibility with external SSD hard drives, flash drives, and other peripheral devices, while remaining backward compatible with older USB standards.

Cinematic 4K Experience at 60Hz

Enjoy an unmatched visual experience thanks to the HDMI port that supports 4K at 60Hz resolution. Unlike common hubs that are limited to 30Hz, the CM512 delivers smooth motion without flickering, making it ideal for video editing, presentations, or gaming on large screens. Connect your computer to monitors, projectors, or TVs and watch your content come to life with exceptional clarity and rich colors.

Uninterrupted Power and Stable Network

Never worry about your battery level again, as the USB-C Power Delivery port supports pass-through charging of up to 100W, charging your laptop while you use all the other functions. At the same time, the Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 port provides a stable and fast internet connection (10/100/1000 Mbps), which is essential for high-quality video calls, streaming, and online tasks where Wi-Fi may be unstable or slow.

Elegant Aluminum Design

The build quality of the UGREEN CM512 stands out from the very first touch. The aluminum alloy housing not only offers a premium aesthetic that matches modern laptops, but also acts as a passive cooling system, dissipating heat effectively during intensive use. With compact dimensions and a weight of just 126g, it fits easily into any bag, making it a durable tool that withstands the challenges of daily commuting.

  • Very good for the money it costs.
I own much more expensive docking stations and I would say this one is better.

I've had it for a week, so obviously I can't speak about long-term reliability, but technically it does what it promises. On an M3 iMac, it works flawlessly, with all ports occupied and has no problem, for example, transferring 4K60 HDMI and simultaneously reading a fast external NVME close to 1GB per second.

The only thing I hold against it is that its ports are very tight when connecting devices; I would recommend it for more permanent setups and not so much for plugging and unplugging devices frequently, as I'm a bit concerned about that.

Also, for someone to calculate if the ports are enough, the USB-C next to the HDMI is ONLY for PowerDelivery, it does not transfer data, so you should know that essentially for data you have 2 USB-A and one USB-C (all at 10GBps).

It does not provide 100w. I connected it to the ROG Ally with its original 65w charger and it doesn't even provide 65w. I would guess it provides 45w.

  • I use it to connect the MacBook M1 to a Samsung 34” curved monitor via HDMI, because the Type-C port broke.

Its operation is flawless, the image is stable without disconnections and its build quality appears solid.

It is a very good monitor for its cost. I highly recommend it.
It delivers 133Hz at 2.5K resolution, it could have been at least 144Hz and for this reason I prefer the connection with the onboard HDMI of the Macbook Pro M1

I am amazed by the fact that it works as it should.
I have a 34 inch ultrawide monitor with a resolution of 3440x1440 and it works perfectly at 100hz (that's what the HDMI supports).
On the station I have connected the monitor, mouse, keyboard, ethernet, and headphones (I have connected them with an aux to type c adapter).
When I didn't have it plugged into power, sometimes I lost the internet connection and in general it got quite hot.
Now that I have connected external power, it works perfectly with a normal temperature.
I have no opinion about charging since my laptop does not support charging from the type c port.

I have also added an extender cable, type c female to male, so I can place the station further away. For those interested, I will leave the link for the cable here.
