The worst device I have ever had, from SIM recognition to speed, it lags everywhere—in opening the camera, taking photos, apps, browsing, the whole thing is full of bugs... the battery doesn’t last a day with normal use after one year, the camera isn’t bad, it’s just that at 50MP it has no zoom, the earpiece has crazy volume and can damage your eardrum + people next to you can hear you and you have to turn it down.
Compared to the XIAOMI Redmi 10 Pro I had, it was 3 times better.
Nice phone to waste your money on so it starts freezing on the first week. If you want, get it so you can improve my mood by letting me make fun of you.
I'll start with the camera, saying that during the day it takes incredible photos, but at night or indoors, it doesn't perform as well as even other cheaper phones.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor is also not the phone's strong point. Light gaming or simple multitasking raises the phone's temperature relatively (if not quickly).
As for lag, for my own use, I don't have a problem. I have noticed some minor stutters, but I can't give a negative review for that as other users mention.
Each of us uses the phone differently.
The phone's strong points are:
- Its battery is very good!
- The camera during the day is incredible.
- Top AMOLED display!
Very good phone and everything stated in the description is true.
After a year of use, it runs like new. Amazing battery life and a large screen. It has never frozen. Only the camera is not that good, but personally I don't care much.
Owner of the 6GB 128, amazing sturdy phone with a powerful camera, truly endless battery, flagship-level features, very good screen, excellent sound, fast 45-watt charging, nothing is missing from the phone, it really is a value for money with flagship features
very good simple phone if you want (economical) samsung I think this is the good point
many functions basically it suited me a bit pricey for the RAM and storage space but ok
Nice good phone but I would like there to be versions with 512GB and 1TB storage space.
Also, some apps like Meta Messenger and some others crash daily.
The camera is decent and the photos come out with wonderful colors. However, two of its downsides are that it loses battery quickly and unfortunately, in this particular model, there is no port for a micro SD card, so you either need to have a backup on Dropbox or on a USB stick. Nevertheless, it is fast in terms of speed and overall it is a very good phone for its price.
The device had a problem from the beginning. When we make a call, we can't hear anything from the earpiece, while the sound works on speakerphone. Under warranty, it went to an authorized service center of the company. At the reception, they found no fault and the phone went to the service for inspection. After 6 days, they hadn't found any fault and on the 8th day they changed the charging board. The phone was charging normally without any problem when it went to the service. The phone was delivered after the successful repair, but at home the speaker was dead again. Now it's time to recycle the device because the service is under warranty but doesn't listen and finds other things. It's the first time I've had a problem with a Samsung device. I own an S25 and it works perfectly. What a shame. I bought it for my mother for a more quality device.
I got it for free through a subsidy, very nice smartphone. Its photos have vibrant colors, especially during the day. I was a fan of the OPPO Reno series but after problems with their batteries I returned to Samsung and it beats them in build quality, cameras, and the 6 years of updates!
Very good choice in this budget. Samsung quality and generally what you expect when you have used a device from this company before.
Very good phone for its price. Large and clear screen, quite good battery, fast and efficient. I bought it as a gift for my wife who is a light to moderate user in terms of apps. Frequent phone calls and texting, photos due to her job (she gives private lessons), some games and browsing. She is satisfied after one month of use.
I got it for my grandmother and for its price it seems to be very decent for anyone who wants a reliable phone!
A phone that can stand very well in terms of value for money.
It is a very good phone and it is worth its money and more! The screen does not lag at all, everything is perfect, very smooth movements, everything is perfect in general! The camera is a bit lacking but it doesn't bother me much because I have a camera
I got it for my sister and it is very good, fast, nice screen, light and generally great. Its battery, with the right settings, is endless. Some clueless people here who say the worst things haven't realized that all phones need an adjustment period (about 10 days) to work properly in terms of battery, speed, etc. Also, we ALWAYS update the software and the model keeps improving!
There are many other phones with better specs at this price, as the A36 falls short both in photo quality, which is nothing special, and in power, since the 6 Gen 3 is adequate but not very fast. Also, its battery life is good but not outstanding and just gets you through the day.
However, the A36 has one advantage that none of its Chinese competitors have: clean, easy, and bug- or stutter-free software and support that feels more like a flagship than a budget smartphone.
It also has a very good, clear, and readable AMOLED screen.
The build quality is typical Samsung, meaning top-notch, and it can withstand quite a bit. The phone is, finally, very beautiful with loud and clear speakers, and there is also NFC.
So, if the phone is bought as a second device or with software stability as the main criterion (and not the hardware), it is very good for its price and worth considering.
If I didn't know the brand of the phone, I would rate it with 2 stars, but because it's Samsung (a giant company in the technology sector), I gave it 1. The reason is that although it is advertised as charging at 45 watts, in reality it draws 20 watts. That is, it has simple fast charging (22.5-25 watts). The 45-watt charging was perhaps the main reason I bought this particular phone, instead of another in the same price category from a less famous company.
Also, neither a charger nor a 5A cable is included (it comes with the simple cable). So I wasted another 30 euros to buy a Samsung charger and cable to support 45 watts. In the end, there is absolutely no difference. The time it takes to charge at 20 watts is exactly the same as with the supposed "45 watts."
As I mentioned before, if it were a Chinese - not so famous company, I would understand and be more tolerant of such small scams, but I did not expect this from Samsung.
Apart from this problem, the fingerprint sensor sometimes works, sometimes not. I can unlock the phone faster with a pattern/pin than with this.
After a restart, it lags excessively until the operating system and apps load. It doesn't bother me that much since I don't turn it off often, but a potential buyer should know this.
Overall, while I used to have a positive image of Samsung phones, now I am disappointed because such a big company scammed me. After this, I will not buy a phone from this company in the future.
I will replace the broken screen on my old phone (Huawei P40) and continue to use that as my "good phone" and keep this one as a second for situations where if I lose/break it, etc., I won't really care
Finally, after years, I returned to Samsung and found peace. I was fed up with the Chinese ones! Very good phone, great value for money. I bought two. One for me and one for my wife! I really enjoyed it! The Chinese phones went straight to the trash, never again. Only Samsung.
Value for money!! I have had it for two weeks and it's amazing! Very good photos, the battery easily lasts a day and a half and it doesn't lag anywhere.
Values for money!!
5 stars, for the brand name that had accustomed us to more expensive models with these features and for its price, since at least I bought it on offer for 223 euros
I bought it as a gift for my father (65 years old) and he has really enjoyed it. He uses it for internet browsing, calls, and music. It doesn't lag, the quality of the materials is very good. I recommend it.

I am not a hard-core user nor do I take professional photos.
What I want: a bright screen, loud speakers, good call quality, smooth browsing, and good battery life, it’s just fine.
I really like its menu as well as its build quality.
The price of 230 euros is excellent, and what they say about it having little memory for today’s standards, ok I see it, but personally I haven’t noticed any lag.
3 days in my possession...very mediocre phone...lots of lagging in all applications...not worth the money at all...clearly midrange category...from the A series only the A56 is worth it...unless you want something simple to get the job done...
