With a 2 Ω impedance, it makes efficient use of amplifier power and handles low-frequency reproduction to enhance the system’s bass performance. The 50 mm voice coil is driven by a ferrite magnet, while the polypropylene cone contains UV inhibitors.

The aramid-fiber spider and silicone-insulated connecting wires help ensure reliable operation. The speaker is designed and tested to withstand exposure to UV rays, salt spray, vibration, water spray, thermal shock, and dust. The gold-plated brass terminals are corrosion-resistant and protected by a silicone cover.
