Description & Specifications

The Embrace Newborn Carrier offers the feeling of a soft wrap-like hug, combined with the practicality of an ergonomic carrier that is easy and quick to wear.

It is specially designed for the maximum comfort of newborns, without complicated ties or wraps. Available in soft knit for extra softness or breathable mesh for greater ventilation.

Suitable for:

  • Age: 0–12/18 months
  • Baby weight: 7–25 lbs (~ 3.2–11.3 kg)
  • Care: Machine washable

Features an ergonomic hip position recognized by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute (IHDI), with Facing In and Facing Out carrying positions.

The Embrace has been awarded for its ergonomics, and all its materials meet global chemical safety standards.

There are two fabrics available:

  • Soft Air Mesh: made from Aerated Pin Dot Knit (100% polyester) with a ventilated back panel for targeted breathability.
  • Knit: made from ponte knit (thick, double jersey-like fabric), very soft and comfortable.

The carrier fits many body types, covering sizes from XS to XXL, providing comfort and support to both parents and babies.

For proper care of the carrier, machine wash at low temperature using mild detergent without bleach is recommended.

Ergonomic Design & Certified Safety

The Ergobaby Embrace combines the soft feel of a wrap with the convenience of a baby carrier that’s quick to put on with 3 buckles, without complicated knots. It is recognized as “Hip Healthy” by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute (IHDI) and holds AGR certification for proper back support. It ensures the ergonomic M-position for the hips and the natural C-shape curve of the back.

3 Carrying Positions for Every Stage

Adjusts from birth (from 3.2 kg and 50.8 cm) up to 11.3 kg. In Newborn Mode – Facing In, the waistband folds twice, reducing the panel length by 9 cm. Once the baby is over 58.4 cm, switch to Baby Mode – Facing In; for babies over 66 cm with strong head and neck control, the Baby Mode – Facing Out position is available.

Parent Comfort & Crossed Straps

The crossed shoulder straps distribute weight evenly across the shoulders and back. The carrier fits a wide range of body types, from XS to XXL. In Newborn Mode, the straps can be spread across the shoulders to provide extra neck support, while the adjustable waist belt ensures a secure fit around the torso.

Easy Care & ErgoPromise Guarantee

The baby carrier is lightweight (just 480g in the Knit version) and machine washable at 30°C with the buckles fastened. It is free from harmful chemicals and covered by the ErgoPromise Lifetime Guarantee against manufacturing defects.

Breastfeeding Capability & Everyday Flexibility

Allows discreet breastfeeding on the go in the Facing In position by simply loosening the straps. No additional infant insert is required for newborns, making it the simplest and coziest choice for everyday outings.
