The cylindrical copper terminals of the DIN series (electrolytic copper, gold-plated) meet the DIN 46235 standard and are intended for coding. They allow for the termination connection of copper wires and are used where there is a need to connect the wire to a distribution panel, busbar, or other device via a screw terminal. The use of DIN terminals increases the safety and durability of these connections. Unlike soldered connections, using terminals reduces the risk of overheating the conductors and insulation.
All cylindrical terminals undergo an additional hardening and burning process at a temperature of 700°C, which removes any impurities from the material. The hardened terminals are less prone to cracks and micro-cracks during coding and work better together.
