Rim repair and painting device. Complete kit for the repair, refurbishment, and painting of rims with quality AVEX products. The kit is DIY and can be used by anyone following the instructions included in the packaging.

• 4 x 400 ml Champion spray paint
• 1 x 500 ml Champion clear spray paint
• 1 x special filler for aluminum rims
• 1 x set of disposable gloves
• 1 x set of sandpaper of various grit sizes for surface correction before and after the application of the filler
• 1 x roll of tape to protect the edge of the tire.

Application instructions:

1. Thoroughly clean the rims to remove dust or grease.
2. Open the lips of the rim for correction and create a rough surface for the filler to adhere.
3. Clean again or blow away any metallic residue that may remain.
4. Apply tape around the rim on the tire to protect it from the paint vapors that will be applied.
5. Apply the filler to the lips of the rim with a spatula, wood, or your fingers (use the gloves provided in the package) to fix any dents or cracks in the rim.
6. After approximately 10 minutes, once the filler has hardened, finish the surface using fine-grit sandpaper.
7. If the applied filler does not cover all the dents, repeat the process as many times as necessary until all gaps are filled.
8. After finishing the surface with the correction sandpaper, complete with progressively finer sandpaper to prepare the surface for painting.
9. If you want to paint the entire rim, not just the damaged areas, prepare the entire surface of the rim with fine sandpaper.
10. Clean the surface of the rim from any residue left from sanding.
11. Shake the spray paint can for about 2 minutes for uniform mixing and apply it to the rim by spraying in smooth, even motions.
12. After 10 - 20 minutes of drying, you can apply another coat of paint. 2 - 3 coats are recommended for optimal coverage.
13. Finally, after applying the coats of paint and once they are dry, apply the clear paint in the same way as the paint coats.
14. For a high gloss, several layers of clear paint must be applied, with drying breaks between applications. The application of clear paint is optional; in some cases, the surface of the paint is glossy enough even without applying clear paint.
