The Pattex FIX Wood 10x 385g packaging is a professional, single-component dispersion adhesive for indoor use. It permanently bonds a wide range of materials, replacing screws, nails, dowels, or other adhesives during the installation of walls and curtains, panels, frames, decorative plates, supports, wooden decorations, door points, etc.

APPLICATION METHOD:

  1. Thoroughly clean the surfaces from dust, dirt, rust, oil, and substances that reduce the adhesion of the adhesive. If the substrate has irregularities, it must be sanded. One of the bonding surfaces must be absorbent for the adhesive to bind. The substrate must be stable. If necessary, protect adjacent surfaces with masking tape before application.
  2. Cut the tip of the cartridge just above the thread. The dispensing tip should be cut at an angle. Insert the cartridge into a special gun.
  3. Apply the adhesive in lines or dots on the substrate or the material to be bonded. Do not apply the adhesive directly to the edges.
  4. Bond while the adhesive is still wet (about 15 minutes, depending on the absorbency of the substrate). After properly positioning the object, press it tightly to achieve proper bonding. When bonding heavy or weighted materials, they should be supported or immobilized for about 8-24 hours.
  5. Fresh stains should be cleaned immediately after application with a dry cloth, followed by acetone or paint thinner. The hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
  6. Depending on the surfaces to which the items are bonded, support for heavy objects may be required for at least 24 hours.
