    Disadvantages:
    1) Noise like a loud hairdryer. Of course, it is offset by the noise of the extractor fan.
    2) When the first kernels pop, they fly out together with the popcorn and a few unpopped kernels, so I have to be above the machine to put them back in.
    3) I don't add butter, although I prefer it that way now.
    4) Small quantity per scoop for my standards, as I eat as much popcorn as the bowl can hold.

    Advantages:
    1) Speed, everything pops in two minutes.
    2) Smell, when the popcorn preparation is done, the smell stops unlike the traditional pot method.
    3) Less electricity compared to a pot, but if you want more popcorn, one batch comes after the other.
    4) No need for washing, and this counts a lot.
