With the RAM Tough-Track, the mounting possibilities on smooth surfaces are nearly endless for ATVs, cars, combines, motorboats, tractors, trucks, and more. The extruded aluminum version of the RAM Tough-Track can be drilled into any flat surface and is designed for use with #8 screws for easy installation (hardware not included). The durable and reliable mounting system features anodized aluminum that provides smooth sliding on the rail and corrosion resistance.
The RAM-TRACK-EXA-3U has a usable rail length of 3" (the aluminum piece), while the additional load end caps add approximately 1.5" length to each end (3" total). Using the end caps, there are two installation options: either use both load end caps to create entry points at both ends of the rail, or use one cap and close the opposite end with the included cap. The extruded aluminum Tough-Track is compatible with the RAM Center Loader and the 90 Degree Connector, as well as a wide variety of RAM track bases for mounting devices such as action cameras, fishing rods, phones, and tablets.
