While you can adjust the size with the scratch, from the inside I can't tell what material it has and it has caused me calluses on my little toes. The material (it's like leather with stitches) rubs against the toe and has troubled me quite a bit. I would never buy them again. I was forced to order some other ones that I had already tried in the past
