The Hilti drill bit with an SDS Plus shank features a carbide head with four cutting edges and a four-flute helix. It is designed for drilling in concrete, reinforced concrete, brick and masonry, as well as for drilling anchor holes in concrete containing reinforcing bars. The solid carbide head with graded-structure technology makes it easier to drill through steel reinforcing bars.

The optimised head geometry helps maintain a consistent drilling speed. The indicator mark on the head shows that the bit is suitable for anchor installation when visible, while the wear mark on the helix helps determine whether it needs replacing if it breaks.
