Car, VW GOLF 6 TSI 160ps.
Replacement of the mediocre PIRELLI POWERGY with KUMHO. (Other tires that have been used: CONTINENTAL SPORT CONTACT 5, DUNLOP SP SPORT MAXX, FULDA SPORT CONTROL 2, FALKEN FK510)
First impressions, the steering gained in directness and feel. The car is more stable in every condition. Overall, it gives you that more sporty feeling you expect based on its specs.
For a sport tire, it is comfortable. Not as comfortable as a Touring tire, like the PIRELLI was, however the difference is marginal.
Fuel consumption has not been affected and it is quite quiet.
Based on its price, it seems to be the most VFM UHP tire at the moment.
I will update the review accordingly.
*10,000km - Initial findings are reinforced. The tire does not fall short anywhere, whether in rain or dry conditions. It supports aggressive driving, but is not tiring in mild conditions. It is resistant to contact with curbs, etc. Before you push it, it needs to be warmed up. Wear, minimal.

Description

Summer car tyre by Kumho, suitable for use in high temperatures. This specific tyre has dimensions 225/45R17 and load index 91 and speed index Y.

For more information about equivalences and indexes as well as how to choose the right tyres for you, you can find in the tyre buying guide of the category.

Car tyres for electric vehicles differ from regular tyres because they have more weight due to their battery, so they need tyres that can carry additional weight. Also, due to the increased power they have, weight transfers are more intense, much more than a vehicle with an internal combustion engine. This directly affects the tyres, resulting in faster wear. Therefore, they have less rolling resistance but also reduced noise levels.
