The TTArtisan 35mm f/1.4 Tilt-Shift lens for Fujifilm X is designed for Crop Frame sensors and features a tilt function that lets you control the plane of focus. With no tilt, it works like a conventional 35mm f/1.4 lens, while tilting lets you selectively focus on subjects positioned diagonally or at different distances. This allows you to keep part of the subject sharp while leaving the rest out of focus, without changing the aperture.

    35mm with f1.4 is not rocket science but it's not something completely simple either.
    So with this lens you should expect that at full aperture the edges of the image will be somewhat softer. If that bothers you, then stopping down one stop solves the "problem".
