The Levenhuk Blitz 80s PLUS telescope is a short focal length achromatic refractor with a wide field of view that delivers high-resolution images. Thanks to its large aperture, it is suitable for astrophotography, allowing observation of space and bright objects in the distant universe, although these will lack detail. This short focal length refractor is very compact and is an excellent choice for trips to the countryside. Additionally, away from city lights, it provides a clearer and sharper view of the night sky.
It can also be used as a spotting scope for terrestrial observations. The telescope is mounted on a manual equatorial mount, which is preferred for extended observations. The slow-motion controls allow for precise and smooth tracking of celestial objects. The mount is attached to an aluminum tripod, which is stable, height-adjustable, and features an accessory tray in the middle.
Thanks to the standard focuser, the telescope can be equipped with any accessories with a 31.75 mm (1.25 inch) barrel diameter, which are sold separately.
