The Aqara M100 hub connects Zigbee and Thread devices to Matter ecosystems and functions as a Matter Controller, Matter Bridge, and Thread Border Router. It supports local automation for Zigbee and Matter (Thread) devices without requiring a Wi-Fi or Internet connection. Automations and scenes can be configured through the Aqara app.

It connects to a USB-A port for power and data and supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 6 with WPA3 encryption. Its foldable design allows it to rotate 210°, making it easy to position close to a wall. It is compatible with Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings, and Home Assistant.
