The Bayonet Neill-Concelman (BNC Connector) is a type of RF (radio frequency) electrical connector used as an alternative to coaxial connectors.
The BNC connector is utilized in electronic architectures such as audio, video, and networking for connecting various radio frequencies up to 3GHz and voltages below 500V DC. Thanks to its low signal loss architecture, the BNC is also used in high-quality analog communication test equipment and aeronautics. In many cases, BNC connectors are used for terminating coaxial Ethernet cables.
