The MAGUS Bio 230TL biological microscope is an essential tool for hygiene laboratories as well as diagnostic and research centers. It features a trinocular head, a light source (LED), and is suitable for observing semi-transparent and transparent samples. In its basic configuration, the bright field observation method is used. With additional accessories, dark field, polarized light, and phase contrast methods can also be applied.
Digital Camera
The digital camera features a 2 MP sensor for examining microscopic objects using dark or bright field methods. It is equipped with a SONY Exmor CMOS color sensor with back illumination, which improves image quality in low light conditions. Optimal performance is achieved when working with 40x, 60x, and 100x objective lenses. The MAGUS CDF10 camera allows image display on a computer in Full HD 1920x1080 px resolution, photo capture, and video recording in various formats. Data transfer between the camera and the computer is via a USB 3.0 interface.
Optics
The observation tubes rotate 360°, allowing adjustment of the eyepieces according to the observer's height. Diopter adjustment is possible on the left tube. There is a vertical tube for mounting a digital camera. The microscope uses infinity-corrected achromatic lenses, and the revolving nosepiece can hold 5 lenses. The magnification range is from 40x to 1000x.
Illumination
The LED light source maintains a stable color temperature when adjusting the illumination. The Abbe condenser has a slot for a diaphragm for dark field or phase contrast observation.
Stage and Focusing Mechanism
The movement of the sample is smooth and easy. The focusing mechanism is coaxial and located on both sides of the microscope. There are knobs for coarse and fine focusing. The mechanisms move smoothly, without the need for extra effort.
