The digital display is backlit, while the fever alarm alerts you with a flashing light and sound. The alarm threshold is adjustable, with a default setting of 37.5 °C.

It can be mounted using the supplied double-sided tape or hung from the holes on the back, and can also be placed on a tripod. It features a power-saving function and switches to standby after approximately 20 s. It is powered via USB and has a built-in rechargeable Li-ion 18650 battery.
