    I bought it mostly out of curiosity to see how a cheap plane like this is. The sole is relatively flat, but it needs quite a bit of sanding to be considered decent. The blade as well. (this is usually needed in cheap branded models too). After 25-30 minutes of sanding and sharpening, however, it performs just fine as shown in the photos. On the positive side, the depth adjustment and blade tilt adjustment work, not as smoothly but they work.
    Overall, for someone who wants to use a plane occasionally, it's fine.
