Specially designed to be applied on rusted surfaces without the need for minium or other anti-rust primer. Its advanced composition ensures strong protection against rust on any new or old metal surface. Application Steps

• The surface must be solid, dry, and free from dust, grease, or rust to ensure good adhesion. Remove all loose or peeling old paints. Previously painted surfaces should be sanded and well dusted. On non-ferrous metal surfaces (galvanized, aluminum, chrome, bronze, or copper), first apply WASH PRIMER and then OPTIMUM METAL PRIMER. Additionally, to ensure maximum anti-rust protection, especially in aggressive environments such as coastal and industrial areas or north-facing sides, first paint with STATUS ANTI-RUST PRIMER or STATUS MINIUM.
• Stir well before use.
• Thin appropriately and apply STATUS RUSTBLOCK GLOSSY, 2 coats, in thick layers, paying special attention to fully covering difficult areas such as corners, recesses, etc., to avoid possible moisture penetration that causes oxidation. To ensure maximum rust protection, the film thickness should be at least 100-120μm.
• Dries in 1.5 - 2 hours, enough not to stain to the touch.
• Repainting should be done within 3 hours. Otherwise, repaint after at least 7 days. Drying times refer to normal environmental conditions (25ºC, 60% humidity). Any differences in temperature and humidity may alter these times.

Storage

In the original, sealed packaging, in a dry environment with temperatures between +5°C and +35°C for a long period of time.
