It is designed for use like regular glass diffusers but offers higher CO2 dissolution rates.

A CO2 diffuser optimizes the carbon dioxide entering the aquarium for effective absorption by plants and less waste. As CO2 bubbles pass through the porous diffuser, they disperse into streams of microscopic bubbles. With increased surface area, the microscopic CO2 bubbles dissolve easily in the water, increasing the CO2 saturation in the aquarium ecosystem.

Diffuser usage:

To use this CO2 diffuser, simply connect the CO2 tubing to the diffuser. It is recommended to set the pressure on your regulator to at least 2 bar as a starting point. Let the diffuser soak in the aquarium water for at least 2 hours before applying pressure.

Attention: Initially, the diffuser will produce large bubbles around the ring. During the first 24 hours of use, all ceramic pores will fill with water and the bubble size will reduce to the optimal size. Allow a few minutes for sufficient pressure to build so that CO2 begins to pass through (it may not start immediately). Suitable for use with the PRO-SE Series CO2 Regulator as well as all other CO2Art accessories.
