    This is the first induction hob I have used, and many of the reviews may be common to hobs of this category.
    + Heats up quickly and has a good price, but:
    - it is very noisy
    - I can't simmer water to boil an egg or make coffee. It boils very violently and splashes everywhere, or it doesn't boil at all. In temperature mode it jumps from 80 to 100, there is no in-between. At 100 it boils violently.
    In watt mode, at the lowest level it turns on and off instead of having steady power, and again it splashes everywhere. It seems very strange to me that they haven't set the hob for simple simmering.
    - when we have set a timer, there is no indication anywhere that it is on.

    In general, I wouldn't recommend it, I would look for a hob that is better adjusted for regular cooking.
