The Schecter C-1 SLS Elite Evil Twin Satin Black is a modern double-cutaway solid-body electric guitar designed for high-speed technical playing and heavy music applications. The body is crafted from selected solid swamp ash, delivering a clear response and pronounced acoustic articulation. Its seven-piece maple, walnut, and padauk neck-through-body construction is internally reinforced with carbon fiber rods. The solid ebony fingerboard features a 12"–16" compound radius, 24 stainless steel frets, and glow-in-the-dark side position markers. The electronics combine an active Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic humbucker at the bridge with an active Sustainiac system at the neck for endless natural sustain. Hardware includes a Hipshot Hardtail fixed bridge with string-through-body construction and Schecter locking tuners.

Body Construction, Swamp Ash & Neck-Through Architecture

The guitar's body is built around selected swamp ash (Swamp Ash), a wood that provides balanced weight, clear high-frequency response, and tight low-end control. A 7-piece laminated maple, walnut, and padauk neck (7-Piece Maple/Walnut/Padauk) runs through the entire body in a Neck-Through-Body construction. The build is reinforced with dual carbon fiber rods (Carbon Fiber Reinforcement Rods), providing maximum torsional rigidity and resistance to changes in temperature and humidity. The body-to-neck joint features the ergonomic sculpted Ultra Access heel, eliminating any physical hindrance when playing the upper frets.

Ultra Thin C Neck, Compound Radius & Stainless Steel Frets

The neck is shaped with a slim Ultra Thin C profile, measuring 19 mm at the 1st fret and 20 mm at the 12th fret, and finished with a matte satin coating for fast, unrestricted hand movement. The fingerboard, made from dark solid Ebony, features a 12" to 16" Compound Radius, curving near the nut for a comfortable chord grip and gradually flattening toward the body for clean string bends. The 24 Extra Jumbo frets are made of stainless steel to minimize friction and resist wear. The side-mounted, glow-in-the-dark Luminlay markers ensure precise positioning on stage in low-light conditions.

Fishman Fluence Electronics, Sustainiac System & Hipshot Hardware

The bridge pickup is the multivoice Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic, delivering high output, tight crunch and noise-free performance, with the option to switch between Voice 1 (modern active) and Voice 2 (organic passive) via a push-pull switch. The neck position houses the active electromagnetic Sustainiac system, which functions as a single-coil pickup when switched off and produces infinite string sustain when activated, with three modes (Fundamental, Harmonic, Mix). The hardware includes a solid-brass Hipshot Hardtail bridge with string-through-body construction, a Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL nut and Schecter Locking tuners for maximum energy transfer and tuning stability.
