The Digitus network cable tester checks RJ45 and BNC cabling, as well as RJ12 and RJ11 cables. With the remote unit, it checks conductor continuity and detects crossed wires or short circuits, even in already installed cabling. Testing can be performed manually or with an automatic scan that checks one conductor at a time.

The PoE control unit indicates whether a PoE signal is present at the port or network outlet and which PoE mode is being used. It is compatible with the 802.3af and 802.3at PoE standards. The tester is suitable for twisted-pair cables from CAT. 3 to CAT. 7A, BNC coaxial cables, as well as UAE, TAE, and telephone cables.
