The nail fungus treatment pen is intended for the treatment of onychomycosis/nail fungal infections, the prevention of the spread of fungal infection, and the restoration of the nail after mycosis.

Onychomycosis, known as nail mycosis, is a condition that begins with the appearance of a white or yellow spot under the tip of the fingernail or toenail. As the infection progresses, it can lead to discoloration, thickening, crumbling, or breaking of the nail edge. Onychogryphosis is the abnormal thickening of the nail caused by fungal infection.

• Urea:
  • Antifungal and antimicrobial properties.
  • Hydrating action due to its hygroscopic nature (absorbs moisture from the air), emollient action (protects, moisturizes, and smooths). The nail is hydrated, preventing brittleness.
  • Keratolytic action – breaks the bonds between dead nail cells, promoting exfoliation (removes layers of dead, keratinized, compacted, and flexible cells). Thanks to this action, brittle and broken nails regain their natural appearance.
• Lactic acid:
  • Hydrating action.
  • Exfoliating action (a mild exfoliant that works on the surface, allowing other substances to penetrate deeply).
  • Stimulates collagen synthesis in the nail, providing strength and elasticity.
  • Accelerates the nail growth process.

Ingredients: Urea, lactic acid, propylene glycol, water, sodium hydroxide.

Instructions for use: Use once daily, preferably in the evening before bedtime, as follows:

• Remove the cap.
• Twist the tip of the pen until the brush is moistened. The first use may take up to 20 seconds.
• Apply a thin layer to the affected nail. Do not apply to the surrounding skin to avoid irritation.
• Ensure the pen cap is tightly closed after use.
• Allow the nail to dry for a few minutes.

Precautions: Use in children only with medical advice. To avoid the spread of infection, the pen should be used by only one person and only on affected nails.
