Heller presents the model DO27/CASA C-127 in 1:72 scale. The Dornier Do 27 is a German multi-role civil aircraft, made of metal and equipped with high wings. The aircraft is powered by a single Avro-Lycoming GO-480-B1A6 engine with 274 HP. The prototype's first flight took place in 1955 and serial production began the same year, completing production with over 600 units of this aircraft.
The Dornier Do 27 was originally designed as a successor to the Do 25 for the Spanish Air Force, intended as a new light multi-role reconnaissance aircraft. The Do 27 proved capable of attracting other military customers due to its robust structure, good performance, as well as its short takeoff and landing (STOL) capability and low minimum speed. The Do 27 was used by the air forces of Spain, Germany, and Portugal.
