The polarizing filter is used to increase color saturation and reduce the soft appearance of photographs caused by atmospheric moisture. It also eliminates reflections from non-metallic surfaces, such as water or glass. The MRC treatment includes 7 layers and has a triple role: it prevents the appearance of ghosting, inhibits the accumulation of dust and other unwanted materials on the filter's surface, and protects the glass from surface scratches, thereby increasing its lifespan over time. The filter also features multi-layer anti-reflective (MC) treatment that prevents lens flare.
